Here’s Why I Don’t Care for the Coin Collecting in ‘Super Mario Run’.
Last week, I wrote a review over at TouchArcade that was a little controversial. After a few days to reflect on it, I’m still satisfied with the score I gave Super Mario Run, but there are some parts of the text itself I would probably do differently if I were writing it today. Spent too long worrying about Rally Tickets (they’re not a problem, particularly if you get bored of that mode as quickly as I did), and didn’t go into detail about why the coin-collecting post-game didn’t do it for me. But as a rule, we don’t change reviews after they’ve been published and I don’t feel like wading into the comments again, so I’m going to leave it here as a matter of record.
